Cafe Collette Scones

scones Zeb Stewart’s Cafe Colette is nestled on the corner of North 9th and Berry Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I have a weakness for scones, but these are truly amazing. Crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle and oozing with glaze! The lovely baker Anna Eveleigh,  agreed to share her recipe. Here you go!

Here’s the recipe:

2 cups of flour

1/3 cup + 1/2 tablespoon of sugar

1 tablespoon of baking powder

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1 cup of cream

Zest of one orange

1/2 cup of dried cranberries

Mix dry ingredients and fruit together. Add cream and mix just enough until dough is moist. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.


1 cup of sifted confectioners’ sugar

2 tablespoons of water

whisk until smooth
